It's that time of year that can test your mental discipline to keep consistent with your training. Its cold, dark and not too inspiring having to rise at 5 am and get that fasted cardio session nailed.

It's therefore important to keep the mind "strong" by keeping positive. I have motivational tracks and videos feeding my mind with positive energy on constant "play and repeat" when I begin to feel a little demotivated or feel the effects of my external environment.

8 min HIIT-MAX  Workout

This is an advanced 8 min HIIT workout for both men and women devised by Master HIIT trainer Scott Alexander that will force the body to trigger fight or flight  Catecholamine hormones from the adrenal gland in its response to this intense “survival” type of HIIT training.

This workout is best performed using a Wattbike which will place greater demand upon the metabolism than any other “ indoor cardio machine” ( You can use a concept 2 rower / Ski Erg or treadmill)
